Bailongo Montreal Tango Fesival is proud to present the North American premiere of El Cachivache Quinteto, currently one of the most popular tango groups worldwide. Widely recognized on the world music circuit, the group is characterized by its undeniably creative, original, and very dynamic style.
Sometimes qualified as »Tango-Punk » this avant-garde group boasts a repertoire composed of original pieces and traditional tango classics and thrill fans with a uniquely authentic sound.
From May until September of this year, El Quinteto Cachivache will perform in more than 50 cities on three continents.

In Montreal, ElCachivache will be joined on stage by internationally renowned dancers Pablo Inza & Sofia Saborido from Buenos Aires and by Europe’s hottest tango couple, Fausto Carpino & Stéphanie Fesneau. The concert will be followed by a tango dance evening with guest DJ: Edmond Bardhi from the U.S. (included in ticket price)
